Tennis Court Resurfacing prices in Adelaide
This page sets no price: no government source we can show states what resurfacing a court costs in Adelaide, and a figure from a sales page would be the seller's number, not yours. It lists what South Australian sources say bears on a job, each with its source and read date.

What EPA South Australia, South Australian councils and Consumer and Business Services say that can apply to resurfacing a tennis court in Adelaide, each with the government page it comes from and the date it was read. The council lines describe single projects and one application, not rules for your court, so ask the provider which apply. The manufacturers' data sheets are on the data sheets page, not here, because a data sheet has no web address to link.

| The Barossa Council says the court resurfacing works on its Angas Recreation Park courts include existing court surface removal, quarry rubble base repair works, a new glass grid geo layer, a new asphalt layer and new acrylic surfacing layers, plus line marking. That is one council's project, not a standard. | EPA South Australia says the Environment Protection (Water Quality) Policy 2015 specifies pollutants that cannot be discharged to the stormwater system, and its list includes high-pressure water blasting waste. | A City of Holdfast Bay assessment panel report on lights and posts for a tennis court recorded the element as Code Assessed - Performance Assessed, needing planning consent, and subject to public notification because it was not listed as a class of development in the zone's procedural table. The conditions it applied (lights off between 10 pm and sunrise; light spill not above 5 lux at the window of any adjacent dwelling) were for that application, not a rule for your court. Whether resurfacing alone needs approval was not established; ask your council before changing lights or fencing.About tennis court resurfacing | adding or changing court lighting | City of Holdfast Bay Council Assessment Panel report 115/22: installation of six light poles in association with a tennis court (application of 5 January 2022) · read |

What changes a quote
What the job covers comes first: the Barossa Council's list runs from surface removal and base repair to new asphalt and acrylic layers and line marking, while the Payneham upgrade began by removing the fence, the kerb and the drainage too. The condition of the base comes second: one manufacturer's data sheet says: “Where cracking or subsidence is due to factors such as soil movement, poor sub-base preparation or poor quality concrete or bitumen, patching may not suffice. In such cases, a full engineering inspection is required.” The conditions the coating has to meet come third, and the data sheets page quotes two manufacturers' data sheets on them. Where the wash water goes comes last, because EPA South Australia says high-pressure blasting waste and painting washwater cannot go to the stormwater system.
